About Quaggy Nursery

Quaggy Nursery, offers 46 places to children aged 3 months to 4 years old, open Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm, 5 days a week, 48.4 weeks of the year. Our aim is to support children’s well-being and learning throughout their formative years and we do this in variety of ways.

We have a highly trained staff team who plan daily for all children’s learning and development. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which sets standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old. This framework supports an integrated approach to early learning and care. It gives all professionals a set of common principles and commitments to deliver quality early education and childcare experiences to all children. Children’s progress is monitored carefully at Quaggy and all identified needs planned for. Watch our video for a more detailed description of the EYFS.

What are Families saying about us?

It has been a long journey. He has developed the tools needed for his new school. I'm so proud and happy with all the hard work of staff all these years.

Nursery Parent

Thank you so much for my daughter's personalised and beautifully constructed report. She really enjoyed her time at Quaggy over the last 3 and a half years and it has been wonderful to see her holistic development over this period. Special thanks go to her key workers and the nursery teachers, over the years, who have positively influenced and guided her. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Quaggy's for the safeguarding of her throughout, and for providing such a caring and loving environment. We think Ella has a great foundation as a result of all this and is well prepared to continue her developmental journey in school.

Nursery Parent

My son has blossomed so much at Nursery. He will miss it very much. It is so lovely to read all the lovely comments about him and I thank everyone for the love and support.
