Early Years Assistant
Quaggy Development Trust – Greenwich West
Quaggy Development Trust are looking to recruit full-time Early Years Assistants with a minimum qualification of Level 2, at our settings in Greenwich SE13 & Plumstead SE18.
Salary: £18,525 -£20,542 per year
You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to assisting and supporting the implementation of childcare and curriculum activities for children aged 3 months – 5 years and be passionate about supporting the learning and development of children in our care. You will be part of a professional team who are committed to providing an excellent service to our families. You will need to possess excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.

Early Years Community Workers
Quaggy Development Trust – Greenwich West
Do you have what it takes to work with our local community?
The successful candidate will be required to work with families and children to provide services at the Children’s Centre’s in an integrated team with Health colleagues. Successful applicants will be required to hold a caseload of families offering Early Help support, providing one to one support as well as delivering universal groups and classes to parents and children with under fives.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years direct work with parents and children in an Early Years or community setting and hold a Level 3 or higher in childcare. The successful applicant must be flexible, have good organisational skills and be a positive dynamic team player that is passionate about supporting families to make changes.
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays per annum (3 of which to be taken at Christmas and a week at the end of August.)
Sickness benefits depending on length of service.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £26,600.00-£28,490.00 per year

QCCS is a BACP accredited low-cost counselling service committed to supporting the wellbeing of local people in Greenwich and Lewisham. We are a welcoming, accessible service located within Quaggy Children’s Centres, where we have been supporting adults with a wide range of concerns, including parents who may be struggling, since 2008. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic sessional counsellor to join our friendly team.
£25 per hour freelance, part-time
Required four hours per week on Thursday mornings in SE10, term-time only
