Quaggy Development Trust

Parental Involvement

Parental involvement is an essential part of our work within all our services. We believe that parents are the first educators in any child’s life. We want to work with you as a parent or carers to provide the best possible learning and development experiences for your child. You will have the opportunity to be involved in your child’s time with us in a variety of ways. Regular meetings are arranged for you to meet with your child’s Key Person to discuss development and your child’s time with us.

You can be involved through our tracking system Tapestry. This is how we record your child’s time with us. This is an online database where we can add observations of your child and track development. You will have access to this so you can contribute.

You can also have input by volunteering with us. this could be something like reading a story to the children to more regular volunteering such as being a member of our Parent Forum.
